5-flourouracil is an anti cancer drug, and Efudex is a trade name for it. It is usually an agent for chemotherapy. It is also a topical cream, applied on the skin by the patient. Side effects include inflammation, itchiness, and pain on the area where the cream is applied. In few chances, discoloration of the skin and scars can occur. Pregnant and lactating women are not advised to take Efudex. While using Efudex, you must avoid sun exposure or use sunscreens.

Seborrheic keratosis resembles actinic keratosis, but in this case, it could be waxy or greasy. It is a noncancerous benign skin growth, so it poses no other potential dangers. Seborrheic Keratosis Treatments
